Introduction
| The descendants of James Preston Lasley Lasley family genealogy This brief report lists all the information I have about James Preston Lasley and his descendants through seven generations. The report actually begins with Thomas Lassley whom I "think" is James' father, but this is uncertain. I have added the material I have found on this particular Thomas just so it is available to other researchers. Genealogically speaking, I have hit a "brick wall" trying to nail down information about James prior to 1855. He may have been from Kentucky or possibly Indiana, but I have not come up with any solid leads in censuses or other sources from those states for 1850...so far.
