| The descendants of Hans Adam Shilling The Shilling family genealogy My 5G grandfather was Hans Adam Shilling who was born in Germany ca. 1708. He came to America in 1732 settling in Lancaster Co., PA. This register report concerns the descendants of Hans for 9 generations. I welcome any corrections, additions, or any other information concerning this Shilling line from other researchers. Living persons in this report will be identified by name only. Much of the information below was provided by other Shilling researchers, principally Lee A. Sulzberger. I also thank Roxie Stevens for a great deal of information regarding the Shilling line that moved to Iowa, Tracy Shilling Noling for more information about the branch of the family that moved to Ohio and James W. Shilling for information on the branch of the Shillings that ended up in northern Indiana.
