Membership in the Walrath Family Association is open to anyone researching WALRATH and related spellings (WALLRATH / WALROD / WALRAD / WALRADT / WALRODT and many others).   There are no membership dues but members are asked to contribute SASEs for the Newsletter mailings.   Any donation made to the editor to defray the cost of publication is gratefully accepted.   Members are asked to send a copy of their Walrath lineage for inclusion in the issues.   Other Walrath related items are also published such as vital records, obituaries, announcements, and queries.   The editor makes no claim that the Newsletter is a professional publication, genealogical or otherwise, but as a service to provide information for persons seeking information on this Palatine family, and other related families.

Issues #1-21 are also available through the LDS FHC microfilm archives: CALL # 929.27305 W166a .
Issues #1-19 were scanned from copies made from the microfilmed copies and the quality of the scanned files reflect the quality of the microfilm copy.   Another Walrath/Walrod researcher, Donna Grothaus of Seattle, Washington, provided the microfilm copies.   Issues #20-75 were received from Jerry L. Walrath, a longtime Walrath researcher, (521 W. Court Street, Flint, Michigan 48503 - email Jerry [email protected]) who prints the Newsletter.   He made copies of his masters, but certain pictures were missing as they had been returned to their contributors.   The pictures missing may be available through their contributors.   The Editor provides periodic updates of the Association's membership roster.
