Thomas W. Stone's muster papers from both the Confederate and Union Army
How many of you can say you had a great grandfather who fought on both sides. Although I have heard several versions of the story it may be that he was not conscripted and he may have not walked all the way into Kentucky to join the Union Army. I have more information on order.
