Occasionally dogs are placed in our rescue organization. We are very grateful to Ann and Dan Graham who head up this endeavor!
Baron-4 yrs old, neutered male. He is field bred (well known field pedigree on both sides) and very birdy. He is small in stature but sturdily built, not heavily coated. He has been very healty and is full of energy--he minds well and is trained to an invisible fence. Would do best in a single dog family who can spend time giving him the exercise and attention that he craves.
Duncan-2yrs old, neutered male. He appears to be field type (unknown pedigree) and is smaller in size than most show dogs and has less coat. He came from a situation where there was a struggle for dominance between him and an older Chow mix. He gets along fine with people but should probably be in a single dog home.
Easy--approx. 3 yrs old, will be neutered soon. He came to us, having been running as a stray in the Ann Arbor area. He was extremely skinny, heavily matted and had badly infected ears. He got his name (from me) because that is what I kept telling him for the 2-3 hours it took to get him dematted. His ears have cleared up very nicely and now that he is on regular food his weight will come around. He is tall, will have a very pretty coat when it grows back in, and is a very sweet and affectionate boy.
Miley-1.5 yrs old, spayed female. She is small and not heavily coated--very energetic and easily becomes devoted to anyone who will spend time with her. She was very, very shy when she came to us but has come around nicely in that department. She would probably get along very well with other pets.
Rusty-approx. 7 yrs old, neutered male. Rusty is about average size and very sturdily built (very muscular). He has a very nice coat, dark red in color. He is a very affectionate and sweet dog that someone has spent some time training because he is very well behaved, both on a leash and off.
